The PricewaterhouseCoopers registration site (the “Site”) is provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers Česká republika, s.r.o., a limited liability company, with its registered seat at Kateřinská 40/466, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, business identification number: 610 63 029, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 43246 (“PricewaterhouseCoopers Česká republika”).
The personal data that you provide when you register using the PricewaterhouseCoopers registration Site will be controlled by PricewaterhouseCoopers Česká republika in compliance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection and Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended (the “Personal Data Protection Act”).
Your personal data can be accessed by/transferred to other persons only to accomplish some of the purposes for personal data processing set forth herein. 1. Information that we have about you
"Personal data" means information about you and/or third parties (where required by law, a third party could be a legal entity represented by you, e.g., in situations where you submit data to us about your employer or a client company).
We receive personal data about you that is not available publicly. This information is received from a variety of sources, including:
• Information that you provide directly to us, such as: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, title, company, phone and fax number, hotel reservation preferences, conference workshop attendance preferences, and method of payment (if applicable).
If you decide to register and obtain services or information using the Site (or if a legal entity which you represent has already registered and you log onto the Site), you may be asked to fill in certain boxes with information about yourself or others. We will only ever collect, hold, process, use, communicate and/or disclose such personal data, whether optional or not, in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
If you are acting as an intermediary or otherwise on behalf of a third party or supply us with information regarding a third party (such as your employer or a client company), you undertake that you are an authorised representative or agent of such third party and that you have obtained all necessary consents from such third party for us to collect, process, use, and disclose their personal data. Because we are collecting the third party's data from you, you undertake to acquaint the third party with all matters listed in this Privacy Statement, preferably by distributing a copy of this statement to them or by referring them to our website.
We do not generally seek to collect sensitive data through the Site beyond what is needed to register you for the conference. If we do seek to collect such data, we will ask you to provide us with consent to use the data in the way that we propose. By providing us with sensitive data, you consent to our using such data, subject to applicable law, for the purposes set out herein.
2. Use of Information
We may process (manually and/or automatically) and use personal information collected via the Site or otherwise in relation to the registration software for the following purposes:
• To register you for the conference
• To process your credit card information for payment (if applicable)
• To operate the site (Log files of your activity are maintained within the Site and are retained for the minimum period necessary for our web-site operations – log files are maintained to validate the integrity of each transaction and are kept confidential for normal operations unless required, in case of a dispute, or as required by law)
• To monitor performance and activity statistics in the aggregate, to assist in maintaining the performance of the site, and to help enhance operating effectiveness in order to provide information products and services to you at your request so that we can update our records and databases for the purposes of improving the personalisation of our services rendered to you
• To send to you related information that may be of interest to you (If you do not wish to receive any additional information or communications from us, please send e-mail to privacy@pwc.com)
The Site may also collect certain personally identifying information if a user contacts our customer support service. This information is used solely for the purpose of enhancing the customer support experience for individual users and is not used for any other purpose.
Our right to disclose the information is limited by our Code of Conduct and applicable law. Where appropriate, information provided by us to employees, affiliates and non-affiliated third parties who perform services for us, is subject to contractual agreements prohibiting these parties from disclosing or using the information other than for the purposes for which the information was disclosed.
3. Protection of Information
We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to protect your non-public personal information. We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personally identifying information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction, but the nature of the Internet is of course such that the data may flow over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed and used by unauthorised persons.
This site protects personal data. PricewaterhouseCoopers employee access is limited to authorised personnel for maintenance, hosting, and operating purposes only, and who are under a duty to maintain the confidentiality of personally identifying information.
Please note that this Privacy Statement only covers the Site and does not regulate the privacy practices of other web sites that may be accessible through or linked to the Site.
4. Parties to whom we disclose information:
The data will only be disclosed to certain staff of PricewaterhouseCoopers entities (i.e., staff whose job it is to process your enquiries and orders or otherwise to administer the PricewaterhouseCoopers registration software as well as staff involved in the provision of services and products that may be of interest to you), and they will only process the data for the purposes identified in this Privacy Statement.
Subject to applicable law, personal data will also be disclosed:
• to other entities within the PricewaterhouseCoopers network
• to data processors, suppliers or providers of goods or services, for purposes such as processing your credit card charges (but only for the purposes of processing your request for conference registration and/or accommodations, services or information)
• where such disclosure is required by law through subpoena, search warrant or other forms of legal process
In some situations, you may submit personal data via the Site directly to third parties that supply services to PricewaterhouseCoopers entities in connection with the registration software [such as hosting the website or processing credit card details (if applicable), among others]. These entities will process personal data pursuant to this Privacy Statement.
5. Are personal data transferred to another country?
Because of the international nature of the service provided by the Site and the nature of PricewaterhouseCoopers' activities, personal data may, subject to applicable law, be transferred internationally to other PricewaterhouseCoopers entities world-wide for the purposes described herein.
This may mean that personal data are transferred to countries (such as the United States) that do not provide legal protection of personal data equivalent to that in the country from which you are accessing the site.
By using the Site, you explicitly consent to the transfer of your personal information to other countries as described in this Privacy Statement.
6. How can I access or change my personal data or withdraw my consent?
You are entitled to request access to and correct all your personal data collected by us via the PricewaterhouseCoopers registration software as well as to require us to delete your personal data if you no longer want us to process it. You may have additional rights provided by applicable laws(Section 21 of the Personal
Data Protection Act).

7. How long are personal data retained?
We will keep your personal data only as long as required to operate the Site and provide the full scope of services offered to users. The "full scope of services" primarily means registering you for the conference that you select and retaining your contact and attendance records for potential offerings in the future. Information is retained for a period of up to seven (7) years.
8. Are cookies used in the Site?
This site does not use cookies.
9. Sale of business
This Privacy Statement discusses PricewaterhouseCoopers' information practices in the ordinary course of its business. PricewaterhouseCoopers may and reserves the right to transfer all data in its possession to a successor-in-interest to its business or assets.

The Site may provide a number of third-party links to relevant reference sites. No personally identifying information is transferred from the Site to such reference sites, and such reference sites are not subject to this Site Privacy Statement.
